It has been a busy few months here at Tradewinds Engineering as we continue to be vigilant in the downturn of the market. Our engineers have been away on the rigs and have just returned from a trip to Abu Dhabi undertaking some offshore HVAC commissioning work. The Marine & Offshore Refrigeration Course has also proven very important as almost all of the courses for the rest of the year are nearly fully booked.
In September we successfully exhibited at Offshore Europe, where we launched our latest new product ‘Technical Passport’. Hopefully you took advantage of our 30 day free trial and ½ price for life offer which is still open until the 1st November 2015. In case you missed it, just click on the link below:

TECHNICAL PASSPORT
Technical Passport is a site specifically for marine and offshore workers where they can join together in an online community, ask technical questions, get the real answers and share experiences. The site also gives you direct access to our HVAC Trainers who can help you troubleshoot day to day problems, share knowledge and give technical advice both online and over the telephone. Access to technical manuals, training and information on the latest regulations is also available. We hope that you will find the site useful and are keen to hear your feedback and what you would like to see on the site in the future.
E-LEARNING COURSE – The Fundamentals of Marine and Offshore Refrigeration
Tradewinds Engineering understand that it can be difficult to get to the UK to undertake our practical courses so next month we are launching our brand new e-learning portal giving you a better way to access our training. Our first e-Learning programme is ‘The Fundamentals of Marine and Offshore Refrigeration.
This programme covers thermodynamics, the vapour compression cycle and how to repair leaks on refrigeration equipment. This is a chance to learn the theory and key concepts of HVAC before advancing onto our practical in-school training programmes which are the foundation of any competent HVAC technician’s skillset.
