We are proud to announce the release of a very important course that we have put together called the ‘Ventilation and Air Balancing course‘. We have spent a considerable amount of time compiling and researching the latest information based around ventilation systems, and combined with our experience in the Marine and Offshore industry, we feel that this is very important knowledge that should be shared with our peers.
Through our experience in the offshore HVAC industry we have noticed that many technicians could benefit from understanding more about how these systems work and how they can effect the operation of the platform.
HVAC is no longer just a case of ‘Wind & Tin’. Its a fundamental part of the operation of any platform which is why it is listed in the safety case.
We would therefore like to invite you to take a look at our webpage and share this information with your management personnel. We would encourage you to consider this course as part of the skills matrix for the relevent personnel.
The course is made up of 6 modules, namely:
MODULE 1 – REGULATIONS, CODES & STANDARDS
MODULE 2 – BASIC HVAC SYSTEMS
MODULE 3 – HVAC SYSTEM TYPES
MODULE 4 – VENTILATION SYSTEM COMPONENTS
MODULE 5 – FAN SYSTEMS
MODULE 6 – SI UNITS, AIRFLOW MEASUREMENT & AIR BALANCING
Each module includes a study guide and exam to test your understanding of the course material. Upon successful completion of the course, a ‘Certificate of Completion’ will be provided. An example of this certificate can be seen below.
