This course covers the principles of refrigeration for the marine and offshore industry. The first two days look at the theory of thermodynamics, the vapour compression cycle, energy efficiency and the repair process. The next two days are fully practical, and you will be trained on how to repair a system to industry standards. The final day is exams.

The level of certification is based on wear you attend the course.
Devon, UK – City & Guilds 2079 certificate + TWE Certificate of Completion
Palma, Mallorca, Spain – TWE Certificate of Completion
Please Note: The course in Spain does not include the C&G2079 FGas qualification as it is not a requirement for the marine industry. Should you wish to obtain this qualification anyway, then you can either compete the full 5 day course at our UK training facility OR do the 5 day course in Palma and then just sit the C&G2079 exams with us in the UK for an additional fee. The exams can be completed in 1 day at our UK training facility.
